Duck Bill
This latex duck bill glues on above and below your mouth. You will need an adhesive to glue the prosthetic to your skin, and we recommend using spirit gum to attach it. This item is only sold unpainted, but it is easy to paint any color you need with acrylic craft paint.
There are 2 ways that we recommend painting latex prosthetics.
-
RMG make-up: The best make-up to paint latex prosthetics is called RMG, or Rubber Mask Grease paint. You will need setting powder to powder the make-up after application. Some helpful tips can be found here.
- Acrylic Craft Paint: If painting with acrylic paint, you will need to paint a layer of Flexible Adhesion Promoter first. This product creates a tacky, flexible layer on the surface of the latex. When you paint the acrylic paint over top, it acts as a flexible glue, bonding the acrylic paint to the latex, allowing it to bend and deform without cracking and flaking off. We offer an option to add a 1/2 ounce bottle with your purchase, or you can buy a larger bottle online.
