About the Piece:
The original drawing was completed for the 2023 JordanCon Charity Art Jam. I like to offer prints of all of my Charity Art Jam pieces, since only one person gets to walk away from the auction with the original work of art.
During the Charity Art Jam, I only have about 2 hours to make the original work of art. So sometimes when I get home, I like to make a version 2.0, where I get to spend more time to really flesh out the idea. Beyond version 2.0 of Tulu!, cranking up the cuteness of a Kitty and his C'Tuwoo to 11!
I found inspirations from a childhood cartoon, Tiny Toon Adventures, especially with thoughts of Elmira and her pets... err, captives.

About the Artist:
Paul and his brother Michael opened Aradani Studios in 2002, selling both their artwork and costuming as they travelled all across the US. Paul’s medium of choice is charcoal, a passion he discovered in college. He loves the fluidity of it, the ease of moving it across the page with a simple gesture, and on the flipside, the challenge of it, such a simple gesture can also erase hours of painstaking detail. Paul’s work has won numerous awards around the country, including the prestigious Chesley Award in 2006, for Best Monochrome Unpublished for his piece Nightmare.
